2021 STATE SCHOLAR BOWL CANCELED
The LSAM Board has been meeting regularly and planning for different scenarios regarding all of our LSAM sponsored events. After consulting with principals, other state sports associations, county health departments, and others, we are sad to announce that the 2021 State Scholar Bowl event has been canceled. Due to many factors outside of the Board’s control, the Board felt that this was the best decision regarding the event. We hope to see all of you in person at next year’s Scholar Bowl.
A decision regarding the State Basketball tournament that is scheduled to take place February 19-21, 2021 will be made later in the month of January. The Basketball Committee and the Board will continue to explore all options to try and hold the State tournament in Jefferson City.
The LSAM board will continue to monitor the situation regarding the pandemic as each event approaches and will work diligently to try and have these events in accordance with current health and safety regulations.
